A Magazine For Women (He Can Read Too)
This magazine is a celebration of women in all their forms: written with heart, intention, and deep love.
As a writer, journalist, PR specialist, published author, and blogger with over a decade of experience, I’ve always used storytelling to explore connection. At the start of the year, I asked my blog readers what they wanted to see from me, and one idea struck a chord with me: Can you write about navigating female friendships?
That question bloomed into this magazine.
Created in collaboration with two incredible women—Teresa, a gifted photographer and breast cancer survivor, and Vivianne, an artist whose painting graces the cover—this issue is a deeply personal, creative offering by women, for women. Inside, you’ll find original stories, poetry, and real-life wisdom centered on the beauty, complexity, and evolution of female relationships.
Inside this issue:
- A letter from the editor on the sacredness of girlhood and what inspired this magazine
- A haiku to ground you in feminine energy and set up the vibe for the rest of the work
- A short story set at a bachelorette weekend in Joshua Tree, where each woman is at a different stage of life
- A romantic story about childhood friends-turned-lovers
- A series of journal-entry-style poems from Muscle Memory, my soon-to-be-published family saga novel, featuring three generations of women on the day they discover they’re pregnant
- A poem honoring my cousin and the quiet ways women inspire one another
- Work in Progress—a sharp, funny story about the corporate world and the nuances of working under a woman boss within a patriarchal system
- A reflective poem on cycle syncing, paired with a complete guide to syncing your life and diet to your menstrual cycle
- And finally, crowdsourced wisdom from real women of all ages: advice that changed their lives, passed down woman to woman
This magazine is for anyone who’s ever held a best friend’s hand, been mothered or mentored, inspired or uplifted by another woman. It’s for the softness we offer each other, the strength we build together, and the lineage of love we carry forward.
